How do you charge a PSP with a ps3 controller charger?

I have tried to connect the psp with my ps3 controller and it wont charge and apparently it works.

since is not replacing the psp it will be minimal to none difference
well it will look better since the screen will be a little bigger but thats just about it
And forcing everyone to buy brand new hardware would be a very bad mistake on Sony's part.

Though, I would expect the graphics to be a little crisper, and I would also expect a little brighter screen.
you might just want to buy a charger, because the psp doesnt accept USB connections while its turned off (u need to go to USB under settings). and chargers arent that expensive.

Hi i am using a psp 3000 and got the mac os x portal ( by dolphin project ) to work and when i sign back in it says that i have a invalid username or password. Can somebody please tell me how i can change the username or password. Thnx
P.S I have reinstalled the Mac OS X Leopard folder several times and i still cant get it to work.

there are many places to download games for free here are some that you need to use torrents on, a good way to make these torrents work is by going to utorrent.com , you must have a homebrew psp to make these work

just goto the browser and delete your cache,input history, and cookies. it will restart the portal completly. have fun :)

I need some good 'time waster' games, RPGs or simulations. Fantasy, medieval; not a FF title! I don't want CC, GoW or GTA; I'd like recommendations that are close to Warcraft, Monster Hunter, etc. 'Raising your character' is also a bonus.

Well the closest game for that is Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for PSP. Here you can go gathering where you are free to collect items and hunt/kill monsters with or without your friends(AD HOC), in huge maps. Well like said, i had wasted my time for this game. in my profile, i says i had been playing for more than 230 hrs. and still playing it, because i still didn't finish this game, its long, awesome, very good, best, and great. You can also raise your character here by feeding it will food, you can have talking, pet cats, and you can buy some cool armors and weapons.

Do you have to have custom firmware on your psp to be able to play downloaded games?

I have downloaded a psp game which is either .iso but when i put it on my psp do i have to have custome firmware, and if i didnt and i put it on would it just not show or would it reck my psp or would it show but not play?

Yes, you must have custom firmware on your psp in order to play downloaded psp games. For example...lets say you have a psp thats at 3.90. Then in order to know it has custom firmware then it would say 3.90 m33-3 or something like that. If you wanted to put custom firmware on a psp then you will need some kind of downgrading tool which is called a "Pandora Battery".
Now when you have a custom firmware psp then to properly get a downloaded psp game to work on it then you need to create a folder in the main root of the memory stick called "ISO". Then you are going to put the downloaded psp iso game in that folder and then thats it. Once you run the game, make sure you have a game disc inside and the system will be able recognize the downloaded game as a real game then the game will boot. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

Yep you need Custom firmware (CFW) to play iso. files on you psp.
If youre interested in putting CFW on your psp, this tutorial tells you how to make a pandora battery and a magic memory stick in order to hack you psp. Putting CFW on your psp wouldn't wreck your psp as long as you follow the directions.

What do you think?! I think that if phone integration were bundled with the PSP GO, we sure could see some major competition with the Iphone sales, as far as the game audience goes. Werent they planning on making the PSP GO a phone?

The PSP Go was originally going to be a PDA/Gaming system. It was also going to slide to the side, not the way they have it now. I am looking forward to getting one, but I don't think its going to be as good as they are trying to make it look, it can no longer play UMD's, but the the new Digital update for it will be fantastic. I saw screenshots for the upcoming PSP game: Assassins creed: Bloodlines, and the graphics look better than the PS2.
In a way, you could use it as a phone. Verizon has a new broadband internet card that converts normal broadband internet into a Wi-Fi signal, and it is portable, so u can use wi-fi speed anywhere. The PSP Go uses Wi-Fi. It also comes with skype. so if you had the wireless card thing and a psp go you could use the integrated mic and skype as a phone.
Edit: The wireless broadband card hasnt been released yet, but will soon be, most likely around the same time as the psp go. Also, it wont be on verizon only, that is just the network Yahoo! tech tested it on. it will also be on sprint and most likely other popular networks too.

Content: After the terrifying players on PlayStation 2, PC and Wii, Playlogic announced that Obscure: The Aftermath will be available on the platform PlayStation Portable too. Considering the response to Obscure 2, the developers put the game to the portable platform. The game will be available in September this year.


A group of teenagers trapped in their school are haunted by monsters. The survivors of monsters to kill and, possibly, the principal of the school to escape the school of life. Obscure: The Aftermath for PSP will be six characters with their own skills.


Developers have the game to suit the PSP controls and has also added co-op mode that allows a second player to join in. The game will also be in Boston String Quartet and the Children's Choir of the Paris Opera noise the concept of art galleries, accessible playlist and other works of art.
