My PSP started running slow after I added the new memory stick, what should I do?

Anyone know of a good website or a link to one so that i can download final fantasy 7 for my psp. Ive downloaded some but they suck or there in another language. i need it in English if possible.
I managed to do it once and since then I can't get the PSP to recognise ANY dvd that I've ripped and recoded to MP4 format. I'm using Nero 7 and it recodes the dvd fine to MP4 and it plays OK on the laptop but the PSP won't recognise it.

currently there is no hack for the PSP 3000 model but the ChickHen homebrew enabler . But if you mean the PSP 2000 model which is the slim one as well, Then you will need a pandora battery as explain by the other OP .

go for the psp slim & lite. it's really easy to hack. i can upgrade and downgrade mine without pandora battery and magic memory stick. psp 3000 can't be hacked and i heard that downloaded games won't work. i think there are shops that install cfw for you.
there is no current way to hack the 3000, and some 2000s are unhackable too. there are ways to find out if your psp is hackable, so do some research before buying. there are services that you can use to have your psp hacked, but they are expensive considering that you can easily do it yourself with a memorystick, pandora battery, and a little research. if you want to get a slim n lite that you know is hackable when buying it online get a special edition, daxter or god of war. stay away from madden psps, because some are hackable and others are not.
Should I wait for the 3000 model to be hacked. Any particular slim and lite model I should look out for? Is it easy to install the cfw, pandora battery and magic memory stick? Are there any places that sell psp already done?

Me personally I will go with the Original FAT PSP . is much stable and able to run any application easily with limited application but just the custom firmware it self.
