What are good Titles for the PSP and DSi?
PSP and DSi is a whole lot different ball game compared to each other. It's like you compare a Wii vs PS3. Each has its own plus and minuses. But in general, however, if you enjoy kiddy games, you should definitely go for the DSi. IN the contrary, if you're more into adult themed games, go for PSP.
I have both and i love them both, i recommend Ds Lite (cause of GBA) but you should get ds (Mario and Luigi RPG 3 awsome game i beat it in japanese a looong time ago its awsome (((HackCard)))

Its very simple to install just gotta be careful the screen is fragile.
The inside screen of my psp broke and i cant see anything so where can i go for some one to replace it for me and also i cant send it to sony cause it costs 90$!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i also live in Wilsonville Oregon USA.
Your best bet is probably Sony, although some electronic shops newer ones, not the ones that fix black and white tvs and look like pawn shops... might have an idea how to fix it but seriously sending it back to Sony probably is your best option. If its only 90 bucks thats pretty cheap, cause guarenteed anywhere else might be more

How does one find out the version of their psp?
well when you hold your psp flip it by the serial code and at the end it should say PSP 1001 or 2001 or 3001
The PSP Model Number is written on the bottom of the PSP and the last bit of text will read PSP**** the star is a number *, (it could vary)
PSP100* = PSP Phat
PSP200* = PSP Slim
PSP300* = PSP Lite
I put the folder with the file inside to the GAME folder in my psp.
FOr some reason, it doesn't detect any of the two demos.
I'm running on 3.6 firmware.
I got banned by a stupid hacker on socom fireteam bravo 2 for psp.
I didnt cheat at all, and a hacker banned me.
Is there anyone who can help me get unbanned without doing that nitepr hack?

the psp 1004 you will get system version 1.
something but if you buy a slim 3004 you will get a higher system version like 4.50 and the psp 1000 series(phat) can be permanently hacked for playing iso's and homebrew games.
but the psp 3000 series cannot be hacked permanently (well not till today)
you can only hack it using chickhen and use cfw
(custom firmware)
enabler to simulate 5.03 m33-6.so if your going to buy a psp i,d say that 3004 is kinda better than 1000 cuz you can browse and more options are there.
and if you want to play iso's you can use chickhen and install any custom firmware .
but you should only put the psp in sleep mode .
if you turn it off you'll lose your cfw.
but the my choice-3004 if you want more info check in youtube or pspmods.com

What are some good games for the SONY PSP?
If you're a fan of Lara Croft you could try Tomb Raider Legend or Tomb Raider Anniversary. I own both of them and to me they are a lot of fun. If you don't like puzzles though it might not be the game for you.

The only problem I've had so far is a failed download or two, as in the connection to the server was lost before it finished but that's for a 1 gig file.
I usually have problems getting huge files that are 300+ MB in one attempt on my "broadband" connection (whether I'm wired or wireless). I logged onto my PSN account using my PC, viewed my download list, clicked download, (since I use Firefox) select open with PlayStation Network Downloader, which is already in the slot, OK & it starts up automatically.
At this point or before, you hook up the USB cord to your PSP & your PC + wait for your computer to detect it. My PSP put itself in USB mode automatically, so I didn't have to go under Settings --> USB Connection.
Leave the PSP in USB mode. (Don't press circle to go back to settings + the options on the home screen.)
Leave the window open that pops up when you hook the PSP up to your PC. (In my case, mine was Removable Disk G.)

Recording ds lite gameplay and psp gameplay in my laptop?
If you have the USB auto charge option selected under System Settings, you won't have to worry about your PSP running out of juice while you walk away & leave it to get your file.

How do I put Custom Firmware on my Daxter PSP Slim?
hi i also have a Daxter psp and it is currently running 4.01m33 the way i got custom firmware was by using a pandora battery and a magic memory. You can make them but i highly recommend you don't because it requires you getting an extra battery and opening it. 3. Connect the PSP through USB. Click Connect USB on your PSP.
4. Look for MUSIC or PICTURE/IMAGE folder. It can be in the root or inside the PSP folder.
5. Copy and paste the music files inside the MUSIC folder. Do the same with the other files on their appropriate folders.
6. Disconnect your USB mode and you're done.
NOTE: Just make sure that the file formats are supported by your PSP. Convert the file to another format.
Your PSP cannot read those files with the different format.

VIDEO: MP4

It gives you instructions on how to activate the game but instead it activates a virus that deletes nessacery files to load the psp but when its activated it deletes them and ur psps wont turn on any more. Are you sure you put your songs in the right folder? If not, then re-check. If that doesn't work, you can buy another memory card and split your song or get an mp3 player.

I have the Fat old PSP and three games: Burn out legends, patapon, and NBA 06. I also have a 1gb memory card stick duo. How would I connect my PSP to the internet WITHOUT wifi?
Is there anyway to connect to the internet with a psp 2000 without having wifi? Would like to be able to just link it up to my computer or something.
currently there is no way to connect your PSP to the internet without a Wifi. There is sure to be some block wifi networks around your area. So moving a bit around the house or outside should bring you some network for you to connect to .

DSI has color choices but not many YET at first Nintendo releases only a few colors and then expands its color choices. Some dislikes about the system for some people- no backwards compatibility for Game Boy Advance games, and you don't play with the cards. Personally I think Nintendo has more games, I think the mini dvds for the PSP were a flop, who wants to buy a PSP dvd when you can see it better on a portable DVD player or regular DVD player and a cheap portable DVD player may cost as little as $50. Also the PSP is becoming old, who knows they might come out with newer technology at any given time where the DSI is the newest at the time.

Well I think you play games without the Pandora battery, I don't have Pandora and it works just fine for me to play games, just make sure you have Custom Firmware and to place your games in the ISO folder. If you don't have one just create a New Folder name ISO
use HEN thats what i did then you put hellcat recovery flasher on there and use that to upgrade to 5.00 m33-6 then put the games in the iso folder when flashrecovery is done then its modded with no pandora or anything.

2000 (I have one) are light. they are a lot thinner than the 1K series the disk tray is a pull out rather than push a button. Sound can get louder. screen can get brighter.
3000 they suck. poor quality easily broken not much difference from the 2k series.besides the fact that it is SOOO easily broken, they did not use Metal for the Casing they used thin plastic (i have several friends that have had one and 3/4ths of them have already broken it)
As for the PSP go it WILL NOT have a disk tray (so ive been told) you have to buy the stuff off the PSN. But it comes with a small amount of memory in the system. Like 5 GB or somthing (maybe more)

You will need a pandora battery to unbrick your PSP but not all PSPs can be unbricked if you have a PSP-2000 with motherboard TA-088 V3 or a PSP-3000 which all have motherboard TA-090 V2 then your PSP is forever a brick unless you send it to Sony to get fixed. How do you apply themes to the psp?

If using the firmware 3.52, you should download a well-prepared plug-in theme and then decompress it into root directory, open it in the"restore mode" menu.

1st of all, you cannot play full downloaded games on ur psp3000 that are FREE. i know ur planning to put the games on ur memory stick, but psp3000 cannot play downloaded games that are FREE(stolen), the psp needs to be hacked to play FREE(stolen ) games as in it needs to be running CFW(CustomFirmWare), anyways, pspisoz.com does offer full psp downloads(without registering, or torrents. but u can play psp games from the memory stick if you got them from the playstaion store.
PSP 3000 can't play Downloaded games for FREE. I think that a PSP 3000 needs to be hacked for you to play downloaded free games, i think it's called Custom Firm Ware. But it's kinda hard to tell.
ONLY PSP Phat(1000) and PSP Slim(2000, which i have)(or maybe the new PSP GO) can only play free downloaded games. To bad, you have the 3000 version. I guess you should stick on UMDs for you to play games.

PSP 3000 can't play Downloaded games for FREE. I think that a PSP 3000 needs to be hacked for you to play downloaded free games, i think it's called Custom Firm Ware. But it's kinda hard to tell.
ONLY PSP Phat(1000) and PSP Slim(2000, which i have)(or maybe the new PSP GO) can only play free downloaded games. To bad, you have the 3000 version. I guess you should stick on UMDs for you to play games.

If by base pack you mean the original psp, psp phat or psp 1000 then the difference is that the phat has less ram then the slim and doesn't break as easy if i were you i would buy the psp phat

How do i know if my psp is the original or the slim and light?
you check the appearance if it's a 1000 or a 2000,
first the thickness of the psps:
you can see that the psp 1000 is more thicker than the psp 2000.
second the weight:
you can see that the psp 1000 is heavier than the psp 2000.
third, the look:
turn them over at the back.
try touching them or whatever. then, you can see that the psp 1000 has a kinda 'rough' back while the psp 2000 has a glossy back.
that's just my 'quick' info : DDDD
turn the psp around and take the battery out. there should be a sticker under the battery that tells what type of model it is like 1000 or 2000.
Different PSP packs come with different games, accessories, etc. Just the PSP system itself will cost cheaper ($169). All PSP games work on all systems, so don't worry about whether or not a game will work.
All PSP games will work on all PSP.
