What does the Playstation Network offer on the PSP?

Since you said you have a new memory stick, Format it first before anything else.
1. Insert the memory stick on the PSP.
2. Look For Config(depends on your shell/theme)-> Format Memory Stick. This should put all the necessary folders on your PSP including the ISO folder if you have CFW.
3. Connect the PSP through USB. Click Connect USB on your PSP.
4. Look for MUSIC or PICTURE/IMAGE folder. It can be in the root or inside the PSP folder.
5. Copy and paste the music files inside the MUSIC folder. Do the same with the other files on their appropriate folders.
6. Disconnect your USB mode and you're done.
NOTE: Just make sure that the file formats are supported by your PSP. Convert the file to another format.
Your PSP cannot read those files with the different format.

VIDEO: MP4
